Here are details about the CME program for NDs:
- Credits are issued for full or partial attendance
- Sign up for CME when you register for the conference ($29 additional fee for continuing education)
- All CE registrants will be sent a certificate after submitting attendance verification (no later than August 3)
CME credits for naturopathic physicians:

- Oregon (OBNM): approved for up to 49 general hours of which 11.5 can be pharmacy
- California and other states accepting the following:
AAFP (American Academy of Family Physicians) approved up to 49 hours Prescribed Credit* for DO, MD, RN, FNP, California NDs and others.
*AMA/AAFP Equivalency: AAFP Prescribed Credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.
Approval Statement: The AAFP has reviewed the 2021 Medicines from the Earth Herb Symposium, and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 06/04/2021 to 06/02/2022. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Note on pharmacy credits for California NDs. The CNDA continuing education rules state: Pharmacy hours may be designated by an ND if not done so by the course provider. The chart below can be your guide on which lectures offer pharmacy content.
