As we look ahead to the future, we're excited to share the next chapter for HES.
After much thoughtful reflection, we've made the decision to entrust the future of theMedicines from the Earthherb symposium to United Plant Savers (UpS), who will carry the conference forward for the long term by incorporating it into their biennialInternational Herb Symposium.
Under the capable and inspiring leadership of their Executive Director, Susan Leopold, we believe UpS is the ideal organization to continue our symposium's remarkable legacy while connecting it with their longstanding work in plant conservation and education.
Herbal Educational Services will continue to host our annualSouthwest Conference on Botanical Medicine in partnership with the Sonoran University of Health Sciences, while also expanding our library of continuing education recordings and educational resources to serve our community throughout the year.
While some things are changing, our mission remains exactly the same: providing high-quality botanical medicine education and supporting the community that has grown around it.
