Yalda Shokoohinia, PharmD, PhD. Currently the principal researcher at the new botanical lab at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM), Yalda Shokoohinia is also Professor of Pharmaconosy and Phytochemistry at SCNM. Previously she was the chair of the Department of Pharmacognosy & Biotechnology at Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences in Kermanshah, Iran, and a visiting scholar at the University of Mississippi, NCNPR, Oxford, Mississippi. Her research areas are phytochemistry, natural product isolation, multidimensional chromatography, and analytical chemistry.
