This class reviews the basic pathophysiology of COPD, why women are at higher risk and examines possible prevention strategies. The focus is on botanical applications for common symptoms and long-term management of COPD, as an alternative or adjunct to OTC and pharmaceutical treatments such as bronchodilators and inhaled steroids.
