Most practitioners encounter clients who experience atypical or unexpected reactions to herbs and foods. In some cases, individuals are aware of a known food sensitivity, but many reactions stem from less commonly recognized sensitivities that are frequently overlooked.
While many are familiar with common triggers such as dairy, gluten, and corn, there are also less well-known sensitivities including nightshades, latex, urushiol (poison ivy, oak, and mango), histamines, nitrites/nitrates, and sulfites.
In this course, Bob Linde explores how these sensitivities may present symptomatically, review commonly used herbs that may provoke reactions, and discuss practical, compassionate approaches for addressing this complex topic with clients.
