26SW15 - Bridging Worlds: Psilocybin, Plant Allies, and the Art of Psychedelic Healing, Part 2

Format: Video

Speakers: Suzanne Blaising, PhD and Mary Rondeau, ND, RH (AHG)

Building on foundational concepts, this session focuses on the clinical application and integration of psychedelic-assisted therapy in holistic psychiatric care. Case-based discussion will examine treatment planning, dosing considerations, herb-drug interactions, pharmaceutical contraindications, and post-session integration using naturopathic supports such as nutrition, adaptogenic herbs (Withania somnifera, Rhodiola rosea), and nervous system tonics. Participants will learn how psychedelic experiences can be woven into long-term therapeutic processes to support depression, trauma, and existential distress. Emphasis is placed on interdisciplinary collaboration, patient safety, and sustaining therapeutic gains through integrative care models.
