This brand-new CE series brings together eight in-depth lectures from leading clinicians and researchers in the field of integrative medicine. Covering topics from oncology and long COVID to substance use and women’s health, these presentations provide evidence-based strategies and clinical pearls for immediate use in practice.
All lectures were recorded at our 2025 Conferences and are now available on-demand with CE credit.
We begin with Lise Alschuler, ND, who shares My 7 Top Integrative Oncology Botanicals. Dr. Alschuler highlights the seven botanicals she relies on most in integrative oncology practice, with updates on research, mechanisms, and case-based applications. (25ME02)
Next, Lori Harger, FNP, presents Opiate Use Disorder: Integrating Medication-Assisted Treatment and Holistic Approaches for Whole-Person Care. This lecture provides a compassionate model for supporting patients with opiate use disorder, weaving together conventional and naturopathic strategies for recovery. (25SW15)
From there, we move into women’s health with Tori Hudson, ND, in Prescriptions in Women’s Health: What Integrative Practitioners Need to Know. Dr. Hudson offers a practical review of commonly prescribed medications for women, with emphasis on herb–drug interactions and safe integrative approaches. (25SW16)
We then turn to Jack Lambert, MD, who brings an international perspective in Update on Long COVID: Symptoms, Etiology and Management Plans from the EU. Dr. Lambert shares clinical insights from European research and treatment programs, exploring both the science and practical management of long COVID. (25SW06)
Shifting focus, Kenneth Proefrock, ND, offers two unique presentations. In The Foot – The Natural History of an Appendage, he takes us through an engaging exploration of the anatomy, evolution, and clinical care of the human foot. In Naturopathic Approaches to Assisting Patients through Substance Dependency and Withdrawal, Dr. Proefrock presents integrative protocols to ease withdrawal and support recovery in patients navigating substance use challenges. (25ME18 & 25SW20)
Next, Mary Rondeau, ND, presents Botanical Medicine and Depression Phenotypes: Rethinking Mental Health Beyond the DSM. This lecture reframes depression through the lens of distinct phenotypes and offers targeted herbal and nutritional strategies tailored to each presentation. (25SW09)
Finally, Katie Stage, ND, concludes the series with Intestinal Permeability: Symptoms, Controversy, and Treatment Approaches. Dr. Stage provides a balanced overview of the science, debates, and integrative treatment strategies for “leaky gut.” (25ME23)
