04ME24 - Botanical Remedies for the Head, Eyes, Ears, Nose and Throat, Part 1

Format: Audio

Speaker: Cascade-Anderson Geller. The first section of this two part talk deals with maintaining healthy eyesight, including palming, exercises, and herbal eyewashes for irritation and for strengthening the eyes. This is followed by common sense therapies for the ears, which include a plea for peace and quiet and formulas for herbal eardrops. Herbal steams are described for nasal infections and general maintenance. And finally, some formulas for soothing raspy throat include painting the throat and tonsils with usnea compound extract, and eating slippery elm gruel.

Note: The second half of this presentation has some static on the recording that could not be removed, but it doesn't detract from the wealth of information. Continued in Part 2
