Numerous well-documented examples of this necessary interplay are presented, including Panax ginseng, Arctium lappa, Arctostaphylos spp, Linum usitatissimum, Digitalis spp, and many others. The detrimental impacts of antibiotics and some other drugs on these critical metabolic processes along with practical implications of these issues.
