The  annual Southwest Conference on Botanical Medicine is presented April 5 & 6 at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona.  The conference emphasizes botanical therapies for chronic conditions and also features herb walks in the desert. We hope you will joins us this year!  See the list of speakers and topics below.

Location: The College is in Tempe, Arizona, in the greater Phoenix area,  just 20 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport.  Lodging is available at a nearby hotel (see below).

Conference registration: $295 fee covers all lectures, herb walks (except admission to the botanical gardens) and the Saturday evening panel discussion.  Meals, lodging and the Friday field studies are extra.  Register at the door.  Call or email us if you have questions and we'll be happy to help you!

Best Western Dobson Ranch Inn, Mesa- phone (800) 528-1356  Rooms start at  $79 per night for 1-2 people (+tax), which includes a full buffet breakfast.  Reserve rooms by March 4 (reservations may still be available after that date if space is available).  Complimentary van service is available to the conference site from the hotel.

Due to popular demand, there are now two field studies to choose from at two different locations. Only open to conference participants, and limited to 20 people, they will fill early.   More information.

We regret that we are not able to offer ACPE credits for pharmacists this year.

Trip to Canyon de Chelly April 7- 11- organized by Tori Hudson, ND.  Camp in the Canyon, hike the ancient trails of the Anasazi and listen to the stories and traditions of the Navajo.  More information.

Proceedings book: Contains articles by the speakers on their topics and is available when you register at the beginning of the conference for $20 ($25 if purchased after the conference)..

Lecture recordings: Available for purchase both during and after the conference.

Sonoran Desert Herbal Retreat  April 7- 12: Cascade Anderson Geller and Pam Hyde Nakai are organizing a 5 day retreat near Tucson (at the foot of Baboquivari Peak) after the conference. More information
