Date and Time: Friday May 30 from 9:30 AM- 3:30 PM at Gaia Herbs in Brevard, North Carolina (about 45 minutes south of Asheville)Title: Botanical Medicine for Healthier Children
Speaker: Mary Bove, ND
Description: A full day intensive on the use of botanical medicines for the treatment of childhood illnesses and syndromes including allergies, chronic skin rash, GERD, ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder and chronic respiratory infection. Dr Bove also presents the use of herbal medicines in the management of acute fever, colds, flu, and UTI. Included in the presentation are the application, preparation, and dose of herbal medicines and nutritional therapies for children ranging in age from six months to 12 years old. Preventive strategies for immune building, endocrine system support, and creating a healthy GI system are discussed.
Location: At Gaia Herbs, 101 Gaia Herbs Road in Brevard, North Carolina.
Cost: $95 for the day includes outdoor lunch buffet overlooking the mountains. Lecture hall seating is limited The intensive is open only to registered symposium participants.

You can register for the extra night when you sign up for symposium lodging at www.blueridgeassembly.org under "Events" Keep in mind that Gaia Herbs, where the intensive will be presented, is over an hour away from Blue Ridge Assembly.
