Southwest Conference on Botanical Medicine
April 4 & 5, 2009 in
Tempe, Arizona

This conference features herbalists and naturopathic physicians from the western states.  In addition to the regular lectures on botanical therapies for chronic disease, there are outdoor lectures in the herb garden at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, and an all-day pre-conference field trip into the desert.

Keynote Speaker for 2009: Dr James Duke, ethnobotanist extraordinaire! Enjoy his mix of encyclopedic knowledge of the world's medicinal plants and stories of his travels.

Medicines from the Earth Herb Symposium
May 30- June 1, 2009 in Black Mountain, North Carolina

Traditional and scientific approaches to botanical medicine are offered in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina at beautiful Blue Ridge Assembly.  Includes the latest information on the treatment of chronic disease and herb walks on 1200 acres of woodlands. 

Keynote Speaker for 2009: Dr. Vasant Lad  - renowned author and teacher of Ayurvedic philosophy and medicine.
