Donald Yance Biography

 

Donald Yance

Donald Yance Jr. is a practicing Clinical Herbalist and Certified Nutritionist, specializing in the use of nutritional and herbal approaches to cancer, heart disease, and other chronic health conditions, as complementary and/or primary therapies, and in the prevention of these diseases. His mastery of the Eclectic Tradition, his specific use of nutrition and vast knowledge of up-to-date scientific research, together has led him to develop his own wholistic model that focuses on an integrative approach to healing. This all contributes to his unique ability and success. Mr. Yance is a graduate of the National Institute of Nutritional Education and the Sequoyah College of Herbology. He is also trained as a Secular Franciscan (SFO), which equips him with the breadth and wisdom to touch on the spiritual aspects of healing. Mr. Yance is a professional member of the American Herbalists Guild (AHG) and the National Association of Nutritional Professionals (NANP).

Mr. Yance has lectured for both patients and health care providers at hospitals and conferences throughout the country including; Stamford, Norwalk and Bridgeport Hospitals and the Southern Fairfield County unit of the American Cancer Society in Connecticut, Westchester Medical Center in New York State, Yale's ECAP Center, Rogue Valley Medical Center and Providence Hospital in Oregon, and The Center for Hope cancer support group in Darien, Connecticut. Conferences include: NIH Comprehensive Cancer Care, The American Herbalists Guild Symposiums, Gaia Herb Symposiums, HerbFest, The Northwest Herbal Symposium, International Herbal Conference, The New York Open Center, Green Nations, Breitenbush Herbal Conference and Oregon Herb Festival. He has appeared on many radio shows and television programs.
