Cascade Anderson Geller Biography
Cascade Anderson Geller
Cascade Anderson Geller has been an herbal practitioner for over
thirty years. She has been on the faculty of all three naturopathic
colleges in the U.S. and has lectured widely throughout North America.
She teaches about the healing power of plants and does herb walks all
around the world and near her home in Portland, Oregon.

Other International Training
I have studied with Ecuadorian ethnobotanist, Rocio Alarcon, since
1994. I have been studying Spanish since 1996. In 1978-79, I traveled
around the world focusing on traditional healing methods in England,
India, Nepal, Thailand, and the Philippines including training with an
Ayurvedic doctor in Nepal in 1978. In 2001, I spent a week with
renowned herbalist Juliette de Baircli Levy on the island of Faial,
Azores. I took Rosita Arvigo's week of bush medicine training in
Belize, 1997. Of all the teachers I have had in my life, some of the
most important are the common people who live close to the Earth.
Living and working with them in their homes and on their land has
provided me with the most important education.
