Title: Botanical Remedies for the Head, Eyes, Ears, Nose and Throat, Part 2
Speaker: Cascade Anderson Geller
The first section of this two part talk deals with maintaining healthy eyesight, including palming, exercises, and herbal eyewashes for irritation and for strengthening the eyes. Therapies for the ears include a plea for peace and quiet, followed by formulas for herbal eardrops. Herbal steams are described for nasal infections and general maintenance. And finally, some formulas for soothing raspy throat include painting the throat and tonsils with Usnea compound extract, and eating slippery elm gruel. The second half of this presentation has some static on the tape that could not be removed, but it doesn't detract from the wealth of information. Continued from part 1
