Title: Treatment of Childhood Nephrotic Syndrome with Chinese Botanical Medicine

This presentation covers the classical traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) diagnosis and treatment of disease. Dr. Deng lists several possible bodily imbalances which may lead to NS: spleen, kidney, liver and kidney yin and lung qi deficiencies are described, with the symptoms which accompany them. Six types of imbalances are described in more detailed, and the traditional Chinese medicines used to treat them. Dr. Deng speaks with his great enthusiasm and knowledge on this topic. His rapid speech is occasionally difficult to understand on the audio tape, even though in class it is easy to follow.
