Gonadotropins and Botanical Medicine
Gonadotropins are proteins released from the pituitary which act on the gonads and other endocrine organs. Their effect on the physiology is described, and botanicals which mediate this action are discussed. Included in this investigation are black cohosh, scotch broom, Queen Anne's lace, ginseng, motherwort, cotton seed, stoneseed, Vitex and other herbs.
